Camelia Blitner's father was born at Angurugu on Groote Eylandt. Having grown up there her entire life, Camelia grew up learning the ways of the land and sea from her father. Every sunrise, every tide, seasons and moon brought new adventures - fishing, hunting, gathering - each day a lesson in living in harmony with country. 

Camelia’s mother is from beautiful Normanton which is an outback town on the Norman River also located in the Gulf Country. A majority of her family live or reconnect here which makes it a special place when returning.

Created in memory of Camelia's father, The Ultimate Saltwater Cowboy, who taught her that life is too short not to live it fully. Saltwater Cowboy Life isn't just a brand - it's a tribute to those who know that the best stories are written under open skies.

Today, Camelia brings that same spirit from her upbringing to Saltwater Cowboy Life, a brand born from the heart of Territory living.

As a mother of two, Senior Teacher working on country, and proud Indigenous Business Woman, she understands that authentic style comes from living close to the land.

Camelia, her sisters and their families enjoy travelling back to Normanton to visit as often as they can and really take pride in doing so especially to see family, attend the Annual Rodeo and connect with country.
